View Full Version : What if I had called rather than folded?

Playing the sng's there is one question that frequently puzzles me. (I am singletabling, it gives me time for a lot of thinking /images/graemlins/smile.gif) When I fold and the flop comes perfect for my folded hand, would the flop had been the same if I had called? This is a question about how the poker software works, but from what I have read, the random generators get impulses among other things from mouse clicks. So did my "fold" generate an other flop than a "call"?

Im 100% sure your mouse click does'n affect the RNG. However, had you called it would have taken a different amount of time that had you folded. This would mean the flop would probably have come differently.

The flop is calculated at the time that it is required so any difference in timing (or anything) would result in a different flop, yes.
