basically im on the button with J 10o...2 limpers. everyone checks around to a final board of 5 6 7 8 9, and the river brought the 9 of clubs, making it 3 clubs and straight on the board. no particular aggression from either player. UTG and chip leader bets out 300 (blinds are 50/100), and a raise from the cutoff to 600, when im shortstacked at about 700. I end up calling the bet with the jack high flush and the cutoff had the J 4 clubs to make his flush. In general, i was thinking the big stack bet out to try to take down a scary board. was this generally a bad call for a low stack for all my chips?

I think you have to call here, people will make that play with a ten all the time.

FWIW I don't like a limp here with j10o for 1/8th of your stack. I think you either need to push to try to pick up the dead money in the pot, or fold preflop. With your hand and the chip leader limping UTG I lean heavily towards folding in this situation.
