Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8/images/graemlins/club.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 raises, 3 folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)

UTG+1 is 50/5.6/1.17 after 18 hands
MP3 is brand new...2 hands and nothing but a post/fold

that's what I planned but,
Flop: (6.50 SB) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP3 raises, Hero ????

I 3-bet. I think the raise is likely enough to be the bare A /images/graemlins/heart.gif and I want to charge an UTG+1 draw as well.

MP3 is sure trying to tell you he has JJ though.

hmmm... I folded. I thought even if I'm ahead, there are way to many cards that beat me and I don't know what they are.

Exactly my thinking on this. If I have a strong read that I'm very likely to be ahead since my opponents are lags (etc...) then I'm 3 betting.

I mean, I certainly don't call.

Folding may well be right, and the more I think about it, the more I like it. But it's just hard for me to fold a flop overpair 3-handed in a pot of medium size to a single raise. And I think 3-betting is better than calling.

FWIW I'm actually more worried about UTG+1 than MP3.

I'm not sure if my move is right, either. That's why I'm asking. Seemed like a difficult choice in the middle of my 'ABC' multi-tabling.

I do think 3-betting is the "ABC" play because I almost always 3-bet an overpair.

I think this is clear fold after it is 2 bets back to you.

If you are still ahead half of the deck can be dirty. If you are behind you are drawing very thin or dead. Pot is not big, so there is no point to continue.

Clear fold calling two back.

I checkraise this if MP3 bets. I'm not sure what to do if I'm 3bet. I probably fold right away or if I'm raised on the turn. Am I to weak?

I would instamuck if it's two back to me on the flop against almost all players.
