L3 KQ in the blinds, facing a standard button raise unopened.

Not a horrible place to get involved. Restealing PF might even be better considering you could be facing a 3-way to the flop.

If he bets anything close to pot, I fold to see another orbit.

With this weak lead, I'd gamble here as well (somewhat read dependant). You should have plenty of outs if he caught a piece.

I fold pf without a read. Could be easy to get one that would contradict that advice. Check raising the flop is probably the only way to go.
