Second hand posted (I'm on a roll)

Early. No reads yet.

I think I should have raised preflop so I'd appreciate your comments about that but I really want to know how far to go when I miss the flop with AQo in NL.

You check/fold behind - it would be suicide to get cute on this flop. I check preflop too.

Check the BB for sure. At the fives, any reasonable raise you put in will just get you callers to a flop that misses you most of th time. Plus, if you hit a flop here, no one will put you on a hand as good as AQ.

If's fine to play AQ, but don't committ a lot of chips with it pre-flop. Your edge comes more from applying pushing skills at higher blinds as the bubble nears. You have to maintain fold equity in your opponent's eyes and playing tight early on will preserve your stack.

Early you should just be looking to get your big hands paid off with value bets. AQ is not a big hand in this situation.

A high, 5-way, out of position. I push. Or check fold, either one.

I was joking about the pushing part, but seriously, what would you like to do with this hand. I mean the chance you're ahead of everyone is like 0.00001. There is no way to find out, or any reason to want to. Hope it gets checked around, but fold to any bet.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked the flop, MP2 bet 100 and everyone folded including me.

Would you guys mind having a look at the other hand I posted with the pocket 8's? Thanks for your help.

Just as an aside - I was directed to 2+2 by a player from Oregon I met last March in Reno. Hope I have a chance to thank her one day.

Clear check-fold. No reason to do anything else against a field this large and you missing the flop.
