Sam Adams Light

I have no idea why I bought this. I had never tried it and I guess I wanted something not-too-heavy since it's before noon and I'm drinking beer. Anyhoo, it's very good. Is this the best light beer (realizing that all light beer is crap blah blah blah)?

Prior to drinking this, I would've said Amstel Light is the best. This tastes much more like beer to me.

Yes. As they say, it won 2 medals in something-or-other beer festival in Germany...and there was no light beer category.

I have been trying to buy a different type of beer every time I go to the liquor store. I suppose I will go buy this next.

Good stuff, but a bit pricey for an everyday beer. I normally drink imported and that stuff costs more than the imports. Here anyway.

Well, neither convenience store I went to had it, and liquor stores are closed on Sunday in Texas, so I ended up just buying Miller Lite. Flame away.

Nothing wrong with that if that's what you've got. I don't refuse Coors Light in that situation either.

Considering that it has the same calories as Guinness, it's not really a 'light' beer, and thus tastes better than your typical light beers.

That sucks. I like almost everything of theirs that I've tried, except for the Winter Lager. Too dark and something else for me. I need to try some Octoberfest since I don't thnk I ever have before.

Guinness is a light beer too, though.

Most stouts are, but you can't compare it to a Bud Light.
