Pokerroom 10 handed 2/4. Dude is 9/3 over 60 hands. He raises UTG I get JJ in the BB, what's the plan? I 3 bet he capped and the flop came Q93r, what do I do now?

Against a rock and assuming it was folded to you in the BB, I favor just calling preflop & leading any flop which does not include an A or K. If he raises and you didn't hit your set, you're probably way behind. If he flat calls, lead a safe turn & check the river unimproved. The tricky part is whether to check/call or check/fold the river if he bets it.

If your sample size was bigger (say, 1000 hands), I could see just folding preflop. A guy with a PFR of 3% probably isn't even raising with AK, which would mean that you're definitely behind preflop. And you're unlikely to get much in the way of implied odds for hitting your set, as this player will go into calldown mode very quickly if you play back postflop.

I would call PF and then C/R the flop as long as an A or K doesn't come out. I would fold to a 3-bet.
