Paradise 1 table satellite for the WHUPCC, buy in 100 + 0, added price money 300. Winner takes it all. We are heads up.

Blinds: 500 (me) / 1000 (opponent)

Chips after posting:

7230 (me) / 1270 (opponent)

In this situation, is there any hand bad enough to muck? (1500 in the pot already, the opponent hast 1270 left)

In fact, my hand was about as bad as it gets: 62s

What should I do?

About the opponent: He played well the whole tourney. Maybe he would muck his worst 5% of holdings, but I doubt even that.

I moved in. He quickly called with his KK.

I got lucky on the flop (66T) and he doesn´t improve.

I discussed the hand with my wife a little bit. She thinks, that I should have mucked. I´m not sure what would have been the proper play.

I don't muck often in this situation but I would have here. He's not going to fold to any raise now unless he has the worst trash and you're not in good shape with 2-6 normally. I think it's best to try and wait for some sort of high card contender (A-J, maybe T)before going for the final all-in like this.

I would be soooo sick if I were him though!

Being that you are the SB, I likely fold. The problem with the blinds being 500-1000, you are in a total crapshoot with only 10k chips. But why give him a chance to double up and get back to close to even.
