According to my sources in Stockholm, the nominations for the first Nobel Prize in poker are as follows. Sklansky for the gap principle, Sklansky for "the system", Brunson for his chapter on NLHE in "Super System", Hellmuth for eagles, lions, jackal, mice, and elephants to represent poker players, Hellmuth for the top ten hands, and Hellmuth for the theory of capping preflop with medium pairs in limit holdem.

"Hellmuth for the theory of capping preflop with medium pairs in limit holdem."

If we're judging on how much money each concept has made me, I would say Hellmuth.

Your forgetting Roy Rounder for finding a way to sell $50 .pdf file containing "avanced strategies" you could read for free at RPG and 2+2, and hear on cable TV.

Binnion, Sexton, and Caro should be added to that list. I don't know why Hellmuth is on there.

Lighten up. Some of them are kind of serious and some of them are joking, or half serious, like Sklansky for "the system".

I got the idea for the Nobel Prize, since Sklansky said he could have won one, and he does make important contributions to poker theory.

Yeah I only read the nominations at first. I didn't read the other stuff like why they were nominated.
