It maybe variance. It maybe psychological in that i'm paying more attention to my original acct than my new one.
but there's a 8% difference between the 2 (15% roi vs 7% over my last 1000 SnGs). and i'm not conciously playing them any differently.
If you 8+ table, do the accts have about the same ROI over 1000 SnGs?
If not, how would you explain it?

Mainly it is variance.
My accounts are vastly different over the last couple months. I cant see one advantage to paying more attention to one account or the other.... so why do it, just ask yourself and stop.
The effect of variance is very real even over 1000 SnGs. An error of -/+ 5% due to variance is easily possible even after 1000 SnGs. But it's much better seeing 7% vs 15% while 8 tabling, then having 15% ROI for your first 1000 then 7% over the next and wondering if the players are getting better or some other irrelevant variable than simply variance.

Over 800 SNGs one name has a 45% ROI and the other has a -40% ROI, both at the 109s.

I have only 8-tabled two weeks.
One of my account is +10 buyins (5% ROI). About 250 tourneys.
The other is +90 buyins (42%). About 250 tourneys.

I still dont think people get how big variance really is in SnGs. You(not refering to anyone in particular) have your little 30% roi over the only 1200 SnGs you have played in your life and you think that is really your roi...Man I feel bad.

eurobet account, 55s: 1037 SnGs, 19,0% ROI, 39% ITM
empire account, 55s: 681 SnGs, 8,6% ROI, 38% ITM
The finish graphs look very different also, the good account has 1st>2nd>3rd and the bad one has 3rd>>>>>2nd>>>>>>1st. Heh.

i dont keep seperate track for each of my accounts but i normally even the money out in the accounts fairly regularly and they are always vastly different amounts within a couple days. obviously short term variance so its hard to say if one roi is actaully higher than the other

When I used to play on party my Eurobet account did much much worse than my Pokernow, Empire and Party accounts.
I don't have exact figures but that was the only skin I would ever have to deposit into to keep playing.

my pokernow acct NEVER had a winning week in the 2 months i had it. it was just bleeding $.
thank god they killed the rakeback, so it forced me to jump to another party skin.
