can I overplay a hand also before the flop (IŽd say this is play to loose), or only afterwards?

Yes, you can.

For example, if you raise with QQ and get reraised by somebody who is so tight that he'll only 3-bet with Aces, then you would be overplaying your hand if you 4-bet with QQ.

Basically, if you raise or reraise with a hand that you've been given good reason to believe is not the best, you are overplaying your hand.

I'm new to the game myself so take this for what it is worth.

The suited connectors could also easily be over played. You would probably want to see the flop as cheaply as possible if only one or two people see the flop with you. Plus your overplaying it could knock people out who otherwise would have seen the flop.
