You have the pot odds to call a made straight (which he probably doesn't have anyway). 99, 88, go cry on your pillow. Otherwise, you're in good shape.

of course I called, and was shown T7o for the flopped straight.

Any merit in not going broke in a unraised pot here?

Even if you know what he's holding, you're calling 730 in to a pot of 1400 - I'm not going to lay that down with the draw to the full house. you're 35%-65% if he does have the made straight, and i'd rather take this shot than lay down to someone's two pair or TPTK.
