$33 - my worst performance once ITM, ever (hand history)

I exploited the bubble almost perfectly from the time when we were six-handed (with two microstacks and two small stacks, me and another 2500+ stack who was playing passive) and entered ITM with $5795 compared to $1075 and $1130.

I ended up in third. In ten hands /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I've reviewed the history myself, but would appreciate other sets of eyes. All critisim welcome.

This is smack dab in the middle of a ten-game heater with 60% ITM and 91% ROI (this is my only third place) so i'm running well overall. I think I was still playing solid and appropriately aggressive based on the passivity of my opponents, but they'd seen me bully the table for the last thirty-plus hands and i think their loosened calling standards once ITM + i ran in to some big hands....

I've just started playing SnG's, but imo the only hand I don't think was played correctly was your bustout hand. Unfortunate that your hands kept running into much bigger ones.

I would have folded the K4 and pushed the A7. The J-10 raise was probably borderline but I like the raise, and you've gotta push the flop I think. The last hand I would have gambled also after posting the 300 BB.

Yeah last hand i've got 880 behind after posting the 300 big blind. I expected he was pushing almost any two, just happend to run in to a big hand there.

If I fold that, I'm pushing 730 into 300 BB with no fold equity into the monster stack - not a good play.

A7 MUST be pushed right there. You don't slow down when you are 3 handed, that is flawed thinking, if you got a hand, play it!

K4 hand is close. I might even limp with it. I like to change it up at times, and am not scared to limp with mediocre hands, because I can fold it to a push.

Don't beat yourself up too much, you ran into some hands, hey thats poker.

I'm curious if other people make this play with a big hand in this situation? If I have been bullying the table with the big stack, I will continue to do so. I don't like to suddenly limp or minraise as I think it is a big tell.

He is dominating them chipwise. Might as well just push this or mini raise. Just something to throw them off a bit. I mean first of all if you are ITM as he was you are probably pushing a lot of hands and doing (hopefully) plenty of tricky stuff so I don't think it's a problem.

Why do you need to play tricky against these short stacks? I just play straightforward and push a pretty wide range of hands.
