UTG in this hand is very loose both preflop and postflop and very, very passive. His stats are 68.4/0.0/0.7 over about 100 hands.

Button in this hand is more interesting--I've played with him a bunch, I recognize him, he probably recognizes me, blah blah blah. As far as I can tell he's a good player, maybe a 2+2er. His stats are 22.9/16.6/2.8 over about 2000 hands.

Comments on each street appreciated.

i can't fold to a raise there. you're going to get massive odds with top and 3rd pair -- i am paying off one more bet if someone got cute and didn't raise the turn, cause that 4 sure as hell didn't change anything.

I have seen people do enough stupid stuff w/ AA/KK to not fold to a river raise. I guess if UTG raised you could, but that doesn't seem likely.

I probably C/R the flop as well.

If it matters, given the turn action I thought it was pretty unlikely I'd get raised on the river.

Nice hand and I'd call the river raise as well.

I wouldn't fold to a river raise.

I was thinking about this and I think leading out is far superior. Me betting out and button calling lays UTG almost the same odds (11.4:1) as me checking and button (inevitably) betting (10.4:1). Even if I get a checkraise in, it will most likely trap UTG for multiple bets when given the pot size and the coordinated nature of the board I'd probably prefer a fold.

By betting out and hoping button would raise I at least give myself a chance at laying UTG 13.4:2 and making him either fold or incorrectly call with gutshots and worse draws.

I might be missing out on an additional BB I'd pick up by trapping both players for an additional bet by checkraising the flop (though as it turns out this wasn't the case), but I thought the chance to cut UTG's immediate odds in half made leading out much better.
