Just wondering if anyone here has used this to 12-table on a laptop with potentially no table-overlap.

It's a 32 Mb video card that plugs into your notebook--- allows you to plug in another external monitor. So-- you could have two Dell 2001FP monitors plugged into your notebook, plus the notebook's screen, and 12-table.

Here's the product homepage:

Also you can buy it through HP for $224:

I remember looking at it as an alternative but I don't think it allows you to run 1600x1200 on each screen.

You can have one external monitor hooked up directly to your laptop, running at 1600x1200 (for most relatively new laptops).

You can have one external monitor hooked up to the VTBook card running at 1600x1200.

If you hook two monitors to the VTBook card, then you can run them at 1600x1200.

But that's still 3 screens--- 2 Dell's at 1600x1200 and your laptop screen at whatever res. you are able to run it at.

True, just looked at their site again and remember that it's because I wanted to hook up 3 monitors (since my laptop res isn't 1600x1200). I'd have to use their dual head, which limits res.

"If you hook two monitors to the VTBook card, then you can run them at 1600x1200."

I'm pretty sure you can only hook 1 to vtbook unless you get their dual head cable, and when using that it doesn't allow 1600x1200?

Doesn't matter though because you're talking the laptop & normal additional monitor, + vtbook and a monitor for that.

Yeh I'd go that way if my laptop was 1600x1200.
