"Official" Live at the Bike thread (9/29)

Tonight's show will be a "special" Ladies' Night game of either $100 or $200 NL with a possible special guest appearance by Shirley "Poker-Babes.com" Rosario. Tonight's show may actually beat out last night's 50-100 NL "Whale Game" that was fairly tight as not many large pots were contested. One of the few highlights was when Tuan Le's flopped full house lost to Yosh Nakano's turned straight flush. I seriously think Shirly will not show up cause she doesn't want Bart and 2+2 to critique her play(she said as much last night). I hope she does though.

I'm sure they get a little bit of money from the archives they offer. If you saw the original article of the announcement of L@TB from the LV Business Press back in February, they were expecting several thousand people to pay $20/month to watch the show live. At this time though, I think it's more of a vehicle to promote the Bike in a relatively inexpensive manner.

For the record, these threads are really hard to find... I mean, they're under the "World Poker Tour" heading, under "Tournament Poker" no less? That's not a good place at all for *cash game* poker...

Try to get a better place to put them and I bet more people participate. Or occasionally drop into the program with a "You can find the live at the bike thread on 2+2, under "World Poker Tour" heading" or something

I agree with this. The category should probably be re-named 'Television Poker' and placed in the general poker category right underneath 'Home Poker'.

When the show started in February, there were sometimes more than one thread going on at once in the Internet forum that sometimes went to multiple shows. When I decided to create an "official" thread, I originally kept it in the Internet forum, then moved it over to the WPT forum where it has remained. For some of the high-limit games recently, I put in a post in the appropriate forum to let them know of the show, sometimes there were actually posts there. When I did it last week for the 50/100 NL game on 9/21 no one responded. My belief is that keeping the thread in one forum instead of moving it around to the appropriate forum is the best way to go.
