Texans and Lions both coming off byes against teams not used to the top (bengals/Bucs) - and there both off big wins. Anyone else smell letdowns.

Also like Sea, Jacksonville and a 6 point tease with the colts and Carolina

If you don't use the Eagles going from +2 to +8 as part of a 6pt teaser you are missing a great opportunity.

I thought this one would smack you in the face.

Just remember to keep within your bankroll management. Good teams are capable of getting beat bad too. Last year both New England and Philly got beat bad in Pittsburgh. It happens. Kansas City is one of those teams that has the potential to do this if things are clicking, especially at home.

I very much agree.

Eagles +8 is not a lock by any means. I'd much rather move Minnesota to +12 - Kansas City has a stellar record against NFC teams coming in to Arrowhead, and this game has big potential to be a blowout for KC.

You lose a lot of the teaser value by moving the line from 6 to 12. You only cross one key number.

I don't dislike the bet at all. It does like like a good one. I was just reminding everyone that this stuff can go wrong and you should always remember to stay within your bankroll and not get crazy when something looks good like this.

There's absolutely no way that GB loses by more than 7.5, probably going to win the game outright!!

Keeping this in mind, dropping the Colts from -7 to -1 looks to me to be the best teaser selection this week. I have them with both Seattle and the Eagles.

They don't look bad. But, I am not as big of a fan of doing this with road teams. But, to each his own.

fwiw: Home dogs of 1.5-2.5 cover a 6 point teaser approx. 75% of the time. Home favs of 7.5-8.5 cover a 6 point teaser approx 75% of the time as well.
