I have played a few hands lately which has left me with abit "HIIHAAW!" -ish sensation.

In certain situations one will have to put ones play down to a few fact
1.Pot
2.Range
3.Outs (mine and opponents)
4.Number of players involved in pot
5.Remaining streets
6.Stack size
7.Stage of tourney
8.Action so far

Not neccesarily in that order

Recently I have had a few hands where the action/line taken by an opponent is in harmony with a certain range. If I do my maths on that range I am facing a decent calling situation, perhaps even raising.
But I have made some really accurate reads quite narrow to pinpoint lately, but not based my play on it because of the above.
1. Am I then being result oriented and should continue with the range specific play?
2. Have I become a better player and should act accordingly to read?
Problem is: I dont feel I am the player who lets the fear of the possible nuts drive me out, but that my understanding is more fintuned(pat on own back) /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

To the experienced player: am I making a small step in progress or sidetracked?
