hero and villain both have equal stacks no read on villain in hand. i wasnt the hero, it was observed by a friend party poker 7 handed nl 2k

hero raises qjs to 50 from the cutoff, bb calls

flop is Ts Tc 7s
check check

turn is 2d (board is Ts Tc 7s 2d)
check check

river is 8s completing your flush. villain bets 150 whats your action?

I dont like it, but as it is, I raise to 425 or so. Hope he he hit straight or something; if he has 88, hell let you know.

On the hand, i'd raise pf to 80, bet flop, check turn, call river.

you are right he will let you know if his hand is better so why raise?

i call here. if you raise he only calls you with a hand that is better than yours.

Because he'll also let you know that his hand is worse, a lot of the time, by showing you after he calls.

Call, only a better hand than yours calls a raise here.

Most people are not folding any ten here to a raise on the river the way this hand was played.

call or raise/fold to reraise. never ever call a reraise.

most of the time with a paired/connected/suited board and its been checked, checked, bet he will have either air or a monster right?

i really don't see him having a ten here, why would he check a ten twice with this board? it really looks like he has either hit his hand or taking a stab at the pot either way you gain nothing by raising.

if i am missing something please tell me.

I call here. I just think that king-high and ace-high flush call you here, FH reraises, and only straight, ten, or baby flush might call your raise here (all unlikely in my mind). I think having the A-high flush instead of Q-high is enough to tip the scales for me though to a raise.

dont call if the guy raises again.
