I have abolutely no work ethic. I have test tommorrow in a class for my major at school. I never read most of the assignments. Ive been home for four hours and havent opened the book. Im about to go to a study group just to listen to other people so that I will hopefully soak up some info to write on the exam tommorrow.

This is average for me. Ive been doing it my whole life. I do it with things I dont care about, things I do care about, and even things i really like. I put everything off, and lots of times just make up excuses to not do what I have to do.

So what the [censored] is wrong with me? Has anybody else actually solved this problem in their life. Ive tried making up schedules to work with, but I always just throw it away becuase I know its my own invention and that it doesnt really mean anything. The worst part is, half the time that Im not doing what Im supposed to be doing I just sit around thinking about how im not doing what Im supposed to be doing. I have absolutely no motivation to do anything. Im a genuinely happy person and i enjoy the company of other, but I just dont DO anything. Like that guy from Office SPace.

Advice? (Go ahed and flame me. With my infinite free time I can just sit here and think insult responses /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am the same way, except I have figured out how to make enough money off poker to live off of, and since playing poker is relatively fun for me this is not a problem. The secret isnt chbanging yourself, its changing your environment enough to where you literally dont have to do anything.

or you could just get off your ass and do what needs to be done.

I actually convinced my parents over the usmmer that I dont need to get a real job, and that I can earn good mone yplaying cards online. Net result: I sat on my ass al summer and only made a grand instead of the 20k I was aiming for. I couldnt even get myself to the tables.

it's something you have to find within yourself....you either have to have a revelation or hit rock bottom

I suggest: 1) commiting a minor drug offense that has prison time attached, 2) going to a SE Asian country and screwing prostitutes for 6 months, or 3) realize everything is an illusion and choose which illusions you would like to embrace
