This is an interesting hand that happened to me today. I can't get the converter working so I'll do it by hand.

Party 15-30 7 handed
UTG raises folded around to SB who calls and I call in the BB with K /images/graemlins/club.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

The flop comes down T /images/graemlins/club.gif 9/images/graemlins/club.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

check, check, check

Turn is the 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

check, check, check

River is the K /images/graemlins/heart.gif

SB bets, I raise, UTG folds, SB reraises and I fold....

Good?

fold PF unless UTG is very horrible.
river play looks good, but just calling is ok too. paying off that threebet has an EV of ~-0.99BB.

Fold preflop to a typical UTG raiser. Then bet the turn and take it down when no one shows interest on the flop. I probably just call the river since SB is betting into UTG who raised pre and might have a king. If you raise though, it has to be with the intention of folding to a 3-bet.

Does UTG adjust to the fact that it's 7 handed or is he playing like the table is full? I wouldn't dream of folding that in the BB at a 6 max table, so if he's playing like he knows it's 7 handed, the call isn't bad. If he thinks he's at a full table it's an easy fold.

Does anyone like to just call here and let utg overcall? You are far from the nuts, probably have utg beat, and you really don't want to get 3 bet. Seems like a good play in a small pot.

i think it is a clear fold preflop if the UTG is decent.
