Luske is a good choice. Did not realize he did not have a bracelet. I was more impressed with this guy's play than anyone else's in the 2004 broadcast.

Chau Giang has like three, doesn't he?

Gus Hansen would be #2 on my list, but for the #1 best player who hasn't won a WSOP bracelet, there is only one name:

Does Erick Lindgren? He has to be really considered, as he has had great success on the WPT and in some cash games.

Not only was "Discuss amongst yourselves." annoying and cliché, it was also a bald faced lie, as you are taking part in the discussion. Do you see why?

Gazes? Laak? Esfandiari? D'Agostino? Cassidy? Discuss amongst yourselves.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ugh, limited to this group? I think Esfandiari has a bracelet but my order of best to worst would be:

Cassidy - D'Agostino - Esfandiari - Gazes - Laak

Making Laak an option here is like rating William "Refrigerator" Perry as a running back. And yes, I know he played running back on several occasions. Just as Laak has been known to play poker on several occasions.

Don't know, but Hansen, Phil Gordon, Paul Phillips, Erick Lindgren, David Oppenheim, and Marcel Luske are my top six (no order). At first I wanted to add Paul Darden, but he has one already (http://www.pokerpages.com/tournament/result1730.htm).

Interestingly, many of the players who would be on this list--Violette, Annie Duke, Greenstein, Liebert--won bracelets all at once last year.

I'd like to cast my vote for "nobody who has participated in this discussion is in any way qualified to give an opinion on the origional question". There should be a forum where people simply post long strings of WPT players names, rather than go through all the effort of putting together sentences.

Wait, you're not implying that Mr. Gazes is suddenly being listed based on the fact that he was on television a few weeks ago are you? Surely he only got put on the lists after careful consideration of his all-around game.
