Can I really fold on this 99 high flop? Does people bluff like this enough to make the call worthwile?

One of the first hands in the tourney so no reads at all.

Raise more preflop. Bet out more on the flop. Aside from that, there's nothing you can really do. Since I would have bet more on the flop, I would call an all in 100% of the time at this level due to the fact that most of the time, my hand is good, and secondly, I would be extremely pot committed.

hey bluff. see you quite a bit on the $30's. what kind of jackass calls a raise with A9. this is more like a bad beat post if you ask me. sorry this one didn't work out, but i am glad to see people calling sizable raises with A9. I play it the same way you did.

I dont mind a bad beat at all, just wanted to make sure i played it allright.

But yeah i guess the raise preflop should have been more like T120 or something like that.

Oh and btw, whats your name on there zambo?

i think the raise to 100 was light as the pot had already been opened. i'll let you figure out who i am on Thursday when i see you. are you 8 tabling? i quad and and usually have you on at least 1 table.

120 instead of 100? I'm sure he would call this one too /images/graemlins/smile.gif Just one of those hands where someone is lucky enough to hit sets when you got an overpair.

I pop it to t150 pf and get it all in on that flop anyway. You played it ok though, but you must expect him to call with almost anything to the 2x initial raise reraise.
