Just installed this today. Can't get onto Party Poker with the Internet Security feature enabled. What do I have to do to correct this? Thanks...

uninstall it.

hehe, I don't like norton personally.

See if you can set exceptions for allowed programs.

zonealarm is a decent firewall.

Congratulations,

You have purchased yourself a slower, less responsive, harder to use, less intutive computer.

I don't really see the point in running a software firewall, I would just suggest getting a router, and windows comes with a free firewall now anyways.

That being said, you should be able to open the properties and see where you clicked "block" for your poker application when the box came up and you didn't really know what you were doign so you just clicked block.

Allow this access, and it shoudl work okay, otherwise, RTFM.

Hi

I have Norton System Works on one of my Dell Work Stations and Party Poker Works OK. I never had to do anything to get Partypoker to run with respect to Norton Security. Perhaps you have a firewall blocking Partypoker?

By default Norton Internet Security blocks all sorts of networking protocols, etc. Somewhere in the program you can unblock them. My suggestion is to not use the program at all though.

P.S. I thought Norton System Works only came with System Works and AntiVirus, therefore you shouldn't have a Norton Firewall on a system with only System Works installed, unless Symantec changed their packages.

Great Program, I love it. Close to no spam, no ads, no popups. Very user friendly, and pretty good at blocking most "bad things"
I never had a problem with it. Sounds like you may have accidentally blocked PartyPoker
