I'm currently on the worst downswing of my life, both poker and casino. These last 10 "work" days, I've had a net loss literally every day. This hasn't happened before and I'm on my way to my very first losing month. I don't do this "for a living" so to speak, but it still hurts bad.

I guess I'm looking for similar experiences or anything reassuring

if you play poker long enough, you will have 10 straight losing days (i assume you are a winning player). are you bonus whoring the casinos? if not, then any play is -EV. what would your results be from just poker?

Well I got one, I had been winning pretty consistently without trying very hard for about 2 months at the 200PL level. So I decided to move up to the 400 PL level permanently, well I got quads cracked, then I flopped the nut flush and 2 people moved all in and they had nothing on the flop just a big pair the turn and river matched one of the board cards to make trips on the board and give one of them a full house. I lost a bunch of hands where I was over 90% to win, I have recovered most of my loses, but still ruined my plans to play the 400PL games permanently, very very annoying and frustrating, hows that for a downswing?

I am a winning player
I"m bonus whoring casinos of course
just from poker, I'd be in the red. Just from casinos, I'd be in the red (these last 10 work days).

FWIW, we're talking about 4 figures.

I was crushing the 200's the first week I moved up.. then it went down to balance out. Then it kept going down. Still less than 9k hands in those 10 days, so... hopefully small sample

when i go on a losing streak, i review my play. if i am playing correctly, then i try to suck it up and know that this will pass. and it will. its just a beech while your in the streak. i have had 3 week flat spells. not good when poker is your job.

When you go on a winning streak, you should review your play just as meticulously.
