I hate these spots. What is my defualt play w/o a read and what should I be doing against different opponents (i.e passive, aggro, etc) Thanks

Bet against all opponents, in my opinion it is the easiest fold to a raise in the world against anyone but a complete maniac (and maybe even against him). I would sometimes bet the river and sometimes check behind.

this is a pretty good bluffing card for someone with the K/images/graemlins/club.gif, though I agree that there's no better way to play it than bet-folding
