I don't like to raise that big. My standard is 150.

Anyways, I call the pushes because of your pot odds. Hopefully they have TT and AK. Or as long as we're hoping, TT and TT.

The 2nd guy just called...he didnt push...also, i normally do 150, but i did 200 cause i got a new clunky mouse and whatever it lands on is what i raise. I used to use a tiny ass laptop mouse but i crushed it.

In the games I play, this is now a clear push.

Unless the opponents are very tricky (which I know they might be at your limits), the caller is very unlikely to be in front here. I push this and expect at worst a shootout for the sidepot, and at best a shootout for the main pot.

[out of my league, but...]

Funny that he didn't isolate...calling a third of his stack. OOP, I don't know what he plans to do on a flop with overs (assuming he has a smaller pair), or unders (if he holds AK).

I don't think folding here is unreasonable.

Unfortunately, having 1/5 of your chips invested, this might be too tempting to pass on a flop here.

Edit: And by "pass on a flop", I mean pushing PF. Certainly no reason to hold 500 back, folding to the blinds open-push on the flop IMO. But I still fold /images/graemlins/frown.gif

My gut says call and push/call any undercard flop, but this leaves you in position to make a horrible fold if he pushes something like TT into a flop with an overcard. Then again, with another player all-in, the caller may play softly unless he has you beat. I give this a shot, knowing I'm probably getting all-in on any flop that doesn't have two overcards.

But considering all the dead money in the pot, I think you could legitimately push pre-flop, although I don't like it much, especially at the 215s, because I can't imagine the caller folding for 500 more. At a lower level, I'd push in a heartbeat though.

So basically, I have no idea. The more I think about it, the more I don't see how you can fold at all. I think I push pre-flop, expecting to be ahead of at least the caller.

Assuming there are soem pretty good players at the $215's I could VERY easily see the caller having AA because it looks like he wants to keep you in the hand.

I would fold here. You still have 825 chips with 25/50 blinds. It just really seems like you are up against at least 1 overpair.

How can there be no read? How quick did he call? How did he get his stack?

Bah. whoever taught you to play has done you a disservice.....

P.S. Fast call is often Huge, slow usually AK or so. I'd push most of the time here.

Fwiw, it was a slow call and I pushed and he called. The first pusher had AA and the caller had AT and the board was 45678.
