I went to a Kings of Leon show in Baltimore Sat. night. After the show the band came to the adjoining bar and hung out and drank with everyone there. I went over and was talking to the guitarist. During the comversation I asked him "what made you guys change your look from your first album?" (their style of dressed completely changed between their first and 2nd albums)
His response "We weren't cool and we didn't know it. We were new to the rock scene so we picked what we thought looked good. We just looked like huge dorks."
PS. Don't mean to sound like a fanboy, but check out these guys live if you get the chance. They're starting to get big (opening for the Strokes 2 yrs ago and recently were opening for U2, song in a Jetta comerical, appearences on the Late Night talkshows etc.) They give amazing live performances and sell out small venues. But they still have time to drink beer with their fans. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
