I just played my first stud SNG. I won!! I've played probably less than 200 hands of stud in my life. It is probably my worst game.
The first time I played a limit HE tourney, I won. The first time I played a Omaha/8 tourney, I won. The first time I played a Razz tourney, I won. The Razz tourney was play money so it doesn't really count.
This is the conclusion of the matter: With only basic poker skills and a good knowledge of bubble play and SNG strategy, one could beat any type of SNG. IMHO.
