played a hand against this villian poorly earlier. I played a huge pot OOP w/ tptk, I lost my stack.

so then i start raising his blinds often. w/ drawing hands, to $8, occasionally he'd repop to $25, some times I'd call, one time I open pushed which led to another hand.

I raise UTG to $8 he raises to $25, i open push for 250, he calls w/ QQ.

now we continue this blind struggle and this comes up, we have been playing short handed (4) for a while, thoughts?

I think a significant portion of the time you are getting c/r'd all in on the flop and then debating your "pot odds" and losing your stack.

I would call the $15 more and then play poker.

Since when is $1/2 Mid to High stakes?
Is there a moderator in the house?

He is invoking the "deep" provision to post a low stakes hand in the M/H forum. I don't think he is deep enough to legitimately do so.

What does "open push" mean?

Does it mean that everyone folded to you and you pushed?

Does it mean that you check-called the flop and donk-pushed the turn?

Does it mean that you pushed before he pushed?

I'm curious what "open" means in the context of pushing...
