Original raise is fine, if not even a little small.

I think betting the river was actually your only problem. He won't be calling you unless he has you beat here.

Depending on the situation I will sometimes fire again on the turn, but if not then I have let this one go and won't be betting the river.

I'd make it 75 preflop. Not because I'm terrified of callers but because you will get the same amount of callers as 45, trust me, and you get an extra 30 from each customer. I play it the same postflop except I check the river and maybe call a small bet.

I like this line. Im having a hard time putting any more money in the pot after he calls the flop bet.

Betting the river - you wont get an ace to fold there and he isnt going to call a significant bet without at least an ace.

yeah, I was pretty much done with the hand on the turn, but his second check... I got outplayed and it hurts!
