I've been playing PP sng's at the $10-30 level for two years now.I'm a consistant winner on one table at a time and I think I'm long past due to move up to multi-tabling.
Any advice?
Thanks
p.s.I've dabbled with it when I've built up too many mini-step 1's and I can 4 table nl 50 cash games no problem.

add one table at a time. Jumping to 4 is going to make it seem tougher than it really is.

as nike says, JUST DO IT! (1 more table at a time, adding 1 table a week)

First and foremost, DO NOT HAVE OVERLAP. Also, don't rush yourself - you have enough time to decide, who cares if you are using the time bank a bunch.

I like to load them up all at the same time, others like to load up one, wait a few levels, then do another, etc...i dont think it is necessary, but whatever works for you.

cannot re-emphasize how important getting a monitor that can do 1600x1200 res so you can see all 4 without overlap is. It makes it sooo much easier. Other than that take it slow and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the tips.I have overlap on my monitor and I find that it's a good thing for cash games. Why is it bad for sng's?

What's wrong with overlap, it's not THAT hard.
I do it all the time. (http://img322.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitled6uh.png)
(I'm just tickled pink that I can post images now, thanks again huskiez /images/graemlins/grin.gif)

How can overlap be a good thing? Trust me, when you experience no overlap, you'll never go back.

Once you get used to 4 tabling, it will be boring to play any less.

lots of cheap ways to get high res monitors...I believe it is essential... Used CRTs are CHEEEAP...LCD's are not. I love my Dell Inspiron 6000 I got it on ebay for about 600 bucks and the best part some bad poker players paid for it!
