Villain is a solid player who I havenīt seen get out of line much. stats is 30/24/2

I was preparing to fold on the flop when it got checked through

I don't like it. He's not going to fold an 8, but he'll definitely fold a worse hand. Maybe you'll get called by a 4. If you want a showdown here, I prefer a check/call.
