I was at Wild 94.9's Comedy Jam this weekend and Carlos Mencia was headlining it. I did not find him very funny at all.

I've watched his show on Comedy Central and did not find him very funny there either.

What do you guys think?

The show is absolutely terrible.

It seems like he only makes jokes about racial stereotypes. I thought a couple of the bits on his show were funny, but he's no Dave Chappelle.

His HBO special had some funny parts. His show also has some funny parts, but it seems like he's trying to hard or something.

George Lopez was on Howard Stern this morning. He said, Carlos had stole much of the material in the HBO special from George and that George had given him a smackdown at a comedy club in LA to set him straight.

He even said the HBO had stopped running the special when it found out about the stolen material.

dude, generic jokes based on race arent funny to you? yeah, he sucks...my friend thinks that they just pushed him into dave chappelles timeslot since they had nothing else to air.

none of those jokes were the slightest bit funny. theyre the kinda jokes my friend who always tried too hard to be offensive told in 7th grade. and carlos mencia gets his own show doing that bs.

Ok you guys have no perspective when it comes to television, there is far worst crap out there specially on comedy central, drawn together, stella, the other lame ass comedy show that lasted 3 seconds this summer whose name currently escapes me. Now compare those 3 piece of crap shows to mind of mencia. Now im not saying his show is chappelle show or even a must watch, but overall it has some funny moments. I would say his show is a solid watch nothing crazy like chappelle show or anything, but if your bored its ok. Also I agree the man is trying too damn hard, it annoys me as well.

Stella is twenty times the show that Mind of Mencia is.

Mind of Mencia is just Comedy Central's poor attempt to replace Chappelle's show with more race humor. Too bad it's as funny as Bob Hope sleeping.
