What are normal ranges for Won$WSF/WentToSD/Won$AtSD?

During my last 20k hands I've had 41.6%/33.8%/50.5% (VPIP 20%), and I guess what I really want to know is if it looks like I've been running badly, or normally...

EDIT: How are these stats affected by playing style? Do my numbers imply general strategic flaws?

You're very very tight for SH with 20 VPIP.

Your figures look normal, I've seen good players be big winner with 30-38 WTSD. It depends on your style a lot.

FWIW my last 42k hands of 5/10 i'm W$WSF 47.53, WtSD 31.33, W$SD 54.69. My VP$IP is 20.91 for this period.

Your Won$atSD is extremely low considering your WentToSD (mine are historically around 36% WTSD and 53% Won$atSD. These two are inextricably linked. It appears that you are running horribly to me. I can't offer much on Won$WSF because my VPIP is so much higher (around 28%). Normal Won$WSF for me is about 40% exactly and it is very sensitive. If I run at 42% for a prolonged stretch for instance I win a fortune. 38% and I get murdered.

VPIP: 21.9
W$WSF: 41.38
WSD%: 36.45
W$SD: 55.22

It looks like you are running bad.

Thank God. I hope that is the case, because my results have been atrocius.

Your won at showdown needs to be higher when playing that tight. I´m guessing that you are running bad though.

I got similiar stats over my first 20k at 5/10 (made a nice amount of 15 bucks this period /images/graemlins/tongue.gif)
vpip: 22
won$WSF: 38.8
went to SD: 34.6
won $ at SD: 50.65

Over my first 10k it was like 34/48 /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
But don't worry, just running bad

My last 15k hands I've been running badly as well and my stats are very similar (at 5/10 filtered for 6 players): 42.17%/33.35%/49.41%. I wouldn't worry too much...

edit: I'm a 26/17 player though, that might make a difference...

I'd say you are running really badly. Your WTSD is low so you should expect your W$SD to be on the high side, which it's not.

Looks like things are not going your way as of late. I know the feeling, my W$SD is sub-50 over my last 15k hands.

Ok, here are mine 42.66/29.98/57.46 (VPIP 20.45) thru all of my 39K hands at 5/10 6-max.

I realize my WtSD is well below normal. I tried to make a conscious effort to showdown more hands a while back but that just put me on my first 300BB downswing. FWIW, with the above stats, I'm up very marginally.

However, I feel I'm still making bad calldowns. I don't want to call hands down just to do it to increase this number. I agree that with a lower VPIP comes a higher W$SD. But with this higher W$SD, how does this affect WtSD? At first glance looking at my W$SD and WtSD, an initial reaction would say definitely get to SD more often. But how does the low VPIP impact the WtSD number? FYI, my Folded to River Bet(FRB) is 44.51%, which is also high.

So why are these stats like this? Am I not getting to SD that often because my opponents are folding before SD knowing that they're most likely beaten? Am I not calling down enough 2nd pair-top kicker type hands HU on the river, (resulting in a high FRB%)? Or, is a higher FRB consistent with a lower VPIP since players are more likely to value bet the river knowing they can beat my 2nd best hand? Am I not being passive enough postflop and letting my opponents bet my hands for me, thus seeing a SD?

Just wondering since my stats have always been on the more conservative side.

Hey Cartman,
Here are my few stats for 70k hands at 5-10.

vpip 26.5%
won$wsf 44.03
went to Sd 38.09
won$ @ SD 51.14

for what its worth at 3/6 (6max) here are my stats in these catagories over my last 30k hands

vpip -- 23.8%
won$ wsf -- 38.5%
went to sd -- 34.4% (and that's up some)
won$ 56.3%

compared to intensify! my won$ wsf is very low. if i got that up to 40+% i think i'd be a jillionaire. and i agree with cartman the won$wsf is a very sensative number. for instance if i hit 2% less than my average or 36% i get crushed. if i hit 2% than my average or 40%(for a session of 1000 hands+) i win a ton. it is very interesting to look at the different styles of play and see how that interelates with different numbers in these catagories and still i'm sure most of the posters in this forum are winners.
