Results, especially in the short run, depend mostly on how you do in higher steps. Much more variance than normal SNGs.

I guess this is pretty obvious, just frustrated that I have nothing to show for my efforts in the last couple weeks. Also a bunch of Step 1s that I don't feel like playing (bought in at Steps 2 & 3).

if you hate it, just buy in to the top step. no step 1 booby prizes there.

Is it the time or the money that you have found most frustrating to lose?

It seems to me that it is the "waste of time" that you are most annoyed with.

I'm just curious as I only play steps when I'm totally out of ideas for what to do, but I do play them.

Waste of time.

Greater variance is the reason I play them, so I should not be complaining.
