I probably raise more pre-flop, and 3-bet the flop to 140. Turn plays itself.

you dont think theres any room for a turn check behind?

what are we putting villain on?

If you check behind on the turn, are you folding a blank river when he bets?

No other choice on turn, bad beat post?

Is this a standard open for you PF? (Not the cards, the amount)

PF: Raise more or limp.
Flop: Looks good.

What is your take of his range to call this flop bet? I would say any two pair, any set, and maybe an overpair.

What do you think he puts you on?

On the turn, 2 of the 3 two pairs and all sets have filled up, and are not going anywhere.

J9 just got counterfeited.

Overpairs have just improved, and may think that you just got counterfeited.

Of these hands, you're either drawing completely dead, or they're drawing at 4 outs.

I think that a check behind is decent, calling any river bet. This might get him to overplay a weakish hand.

If he checks to you, bet all-in.

Of course, this holds true much moreso if villian will drop his two pair hands and call only with a boat.

If villian won't get away from these hands, your line looks good.

By the way, I think that the best part about the checking behind line is that often times, villian will fire less than $200, and you can get a cheaper showdown.

glad someone else thinks i misplayed this

i was sure i could have maximized wins and minimzed loses in this spot with a check behind

there arent any draws besides a double pairing board or QT overstraight, and he shouldnt have an overpair here with the preflop action

yes i usually raise more preflop, didnt notice a limper, who happened to have had JJ and won a nice pot off me

I make the 3-bet $140 on the flop. Turn is a clear all-in.
