Is there any benefit...

to either betting early in the week or late in the week?

I heard that generally the spread usually gets larger as the week goes on, but is that true?

I'm thinking that its best to bet early when the lines are more out of whack.

If you predominantly bet NFL dogs, it's usually best to wait til later in the week; if faves, the reverse. Otherwise it doesn't really matter. Speaking for myself only, when I see a line and price I like, I jump on it.
