Deep thoughts.

One thing I have noticed in my travels is that Swedish girls are by far the hottest in the world. Everyone should come to Stockholm atleast once in their life.

I am sad to be leaving this country.

Thoughts?

When I make it to Prague I can weigh in on that.

So far, of the European countries I have been to, (France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark) Sweden takes the crown by a mile.

I Still have yet to visit Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Iceland on this trip.

Hungarian women are spectacular. We would go to Budapest once a year to shoot some Eastern European adult videos because of the fantastic exchange rate, great scenery and the ridiculously beautiful girls there - most of whom were willing to fuk for the camera!

Seriously, I lived in L.A. for 15 years, New York City for 12, and Paris for 2....the women in those cities do not hold a candle to Hungarian girls. It's astonishing how beautiful the "average" girl is there.

Prague is pretty spectaculat in that regard, too.

Is it cheap to live in Sweden or expensive?

Also hows the crime rate?

kipin
09-28-2005, 08:42 AM
Very expensive and taxes are about 50% of your salary. Id guesstimate it would be about 2-3x more expensive than living in the states.

A beer in a bar cost about $7 USD.

Crime rate is low, and everyone speaks english.

I think Suicide rate is one of the highest tho due to the long winter nights (only sunny like 4 hours a day).

No poker so far on this trip... Havn't stumbled upon any casinos and I don't really feel like tracking them down.

Pleasure, just going around Europe for a month staying on the cheap, aiming for $40-50 a day.

No need to play poker while I am here, I just cashed a bit of my roll out to pay for the trip in advance.

Europe is kind of expensive however.

I'm quite interested in going to some places in Europe but accommodation seems a bitch.

I assume you are staying in a hostel, what's that like? Are they full of thieves? And can you get a good nights sleep sharing with 4 people etc?

Cheers.

kipin
09-29-2005, 06:09 AM
Yes staying in hostels.

All my nights have been good nights sleep except for one... That was a horrid night I would prefer not to repeat. I have been gone about 2 weeks now, and slept on night trains 2 of those nights.

Where I have been there have been no thieves, but I don't flash money around and wear a money belt, etc.

As I am going further south in Europe I will probably pick up a lock to lock my things up at night.

Hostels are quite interesting, if you want to meet people, you can easily. Many lonely travellers wanting to start up a good conversation. I have met a few interesting people, and exchanged addresses with a couple people as well. I hope they decide to come to the states and stay with me for a few days, but who knows.

I am travelling by myself, it has its ups and downs.

I'd say
Pros: Do whatever you want, when you want.
Cons: Can be a bit boring if you are in a slower hostel. Plus there are times when you see something interesting and would like to point it out to a companion but you can't.

I think when I travel next time to Europe I will try to go with just one other person. I think groups bigger than 2 would be too much of a hassle.

Respect.

I also like how you see [censored] at your own pace and you won't compromise by going on a gay 'contiki' tour where you only spend 8 hours max in any one place before being bussed to the next location hurredly.

I myself am planning on travelling solo one day too hence my questions to you, as I imagine what you do will be what I will be doing.

Are you keeping a Blog at all or are you writing some things down so later on people who want to read about what you do daily can?

I know I'd love to read about the life of a lone traveller, to see what road is ahead of me.

Suprisingly... less

Aside from the cost of the ticket to get here, and the rail pass. I think I have spent something like $600 in 2 weeks time. (I gave myself about $3000 for the 1 month trip)

I have been eating on the cheap (Cooking pasta at night for dinner), staying on the cheap(My most expensive night was last night which was $40 at what I thought was a hostel but turned out to be a hotel), and where I am going it only gets cheaper(Czech Republic, Austria, Poland?.. although I end in Iceland which is supposed to be very expensive, similar to Norway I hear). I Started in norway, the most expensive place I've ever been, went to Sweden also expensive, and then Denmark which starts getting cheaper but still expensive.

I'd rate Oslo just behind Stockholm and Copenhagen.

I'd rate the girls just behind Swedish girls.

I'm coming back to Oslo to fly out of, and hopefully I get back soon enough to also see Bergen.

You going by yourself around the world? Make sure to take lots of pictures and keep a journal to look back on. Have a blast as well, sounds like you have really planned your trip out(This will change....), or maybe you just know your start and end destinations.

OK I am now in Prague, and from what I have seen, Czech girls do not take it...

Walking around there are some hotties for sure, but not anywhere near the amount in Sweden. I think some time before I leave I will make it to a dance club to see how hot they are, but just comparing girls walking on the street, Sweden takes it by a mile.

Went to a cabaret last night, the cabaret was fun, but I think a lot of the girls are actually Russian, also they do not seem to get completely naked (WTF?), they just take their tops off.

Immigrant whores on the street whistling you down and blowing you kisses is a bit odd as well, especially considering they really aren't very hot.

Casinos also abound here in Prague, I'll probably end up wasting time in one of them some time.

Food and beer are so [censored] cheap here it is also unbelievable. 4 or 5 star meal, with 2 beers and it came out to under $15. This is a sweet city no doubt, although it doesn't have the hottest girls.

Club by myself probably although maybe I will just go to a jazz club. I booked an extra night here so I am going to spend 4 nights in Prague.

The hostel here is real nice, about as nice as I have stayed at. Laundry service, kitchen, internet access, although no TV room which kind of sucks.

Today was quite interesting I got sidetracked on my way into town and ended up going to a sex convention. At the convention they had porn stars masturbating on stage (Yes fully naked... and yes I got pics), and a lesbian scene. I got enough of that after a couple hours and ended up going to a Cuban restaurant that was excellent, although a bit pricey, especially for Prague.
