Blue Moon is ok. It is not terrible but not the pinnacle of that style either which most people would say was Hoegaarden. Celis White is also PDG if you can get it.

I've got about 20 bottles of various alcohol 750ml or greater, 10 bottles of various wines, 4 dozen or so bottles of beer (a dozen each of Newcastle, Fat Tire, Guinness, and Tecate), and two or three various dozens of Smirnoff Ice, Smirnoff Twist, and Mike's Hard Lemonade, as well as all the necessary mixers.

By the way, those of you harping on the Smirnoff Ice in the OP pic (it's broken now, but I'll take your word for it), it's a necessity. He is never getting laid by younger college chicks who love this [censored] because they can't handle real alcohol yet. You've got to lubricate their taste buds with this [censored] before mixing up some real drinks and giving them shots. You've got to ease them into [censored]. When they get older, they will love a good martini, and his ability to mix one (which he will learn) is going to get him laid more than he can imagine. But for now, he needs the smirnoff.

Also, if he has a bottle of Belvedere, he's okay in my book. That's a good vodka choice that is overlooked a lot.

Tecate is my brother's. The rest I picked out. I'm the first person to admit I'm not a beer person and got really turned off from it after drinking american and mexican piss. It wasn't until June at the donkfest when Newcastle on tap was introduced to me that I began to drink more beer.

I find Newcastle, Fat Tire, and Guinness all drinkable and pretty good. I'd be more than open to suggestions about new beers to try as I know my beer-taste isn't half as good as my liquor taste and my wine taste.

Fat Tire and Guinness are certainly both very drinkable. I enjoy them both (and have guinness as you can see). If you want to take your beer drinking to the next level though I'd start with two breweries.

The first is the one that makes fat tire: New Belgium Brewery. Fat Tire is a good beer but near the bottom of the beers they make. I very much enjoy Loft, and Sunshine Wheat is one of my two favorite beers.

My other favorite is Dead Guy Ale by Rogue Brewery in Portland. The Golden Ale I have currently from them is also quite good, and the hazelnut brown nectar is excellent, but not so much in summer. ROgue makes a huge number of beers most of which one should try. NBB makes a few beers and makes them very well. THe one NBB beer I don't like is Blue Paddle, I find it too bitter, but it's a pilsner and I tend to think that about pilsners.

Luksusowa's good. It's not one I buy all that often, but it's good. My standard everyday-vodka is Fris. You should be able to find it for <$20/handle, and it's significantly better than Abolut/Skyy/etc. If you can find Mor, it's the best in the $20/750ml category. If you're willing to go up to $25-28/750ml, then try Vox.
