Game is 200 NL. Hero has about 90 and us UTG+1. UTG is a pretty tigh player, was shortstacked for most of the time I was at the table so I didn't really get a great read on his play.

Hero is dealt [66] UTG+1. UTG raises to 12. Hero folds.

Too tight/weak? Or is folding PP in EP to a UTG open-raise a standard play?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you fold because you're too short-stacked. If both of you have a full stack, you can call.

Yeah, 6xBB raise when you only hold 45 BBs, fold low pockets. You can't play for set value if you can't get the max when you hit.

Definite fold as a short stack. But I wouldn't call even with a full stack unless I was absolutely positive villain will give me his whole stack if I hit. To call 6bb you have to win about 48bb in order to make that call breakeven in the long run, so I don't like to be the first one to call the raise. Now if someone else calls, I would go for an overcall because my odds of hiting that necessary breakeven point go up in a multiway pot.
