Just messing around last night - and have the laggy image to boot. The 2nd raiser probably sees my raise as a draw or a bluff - so is this a "close my eyes and push" spot? He could be raising light here, but could also have a set or the nut flush draw...

This is my hand range for him...

set, Ax flush draw, any pair 8 or above, lower flush draw - remember I have an ultra laggy image. Note he'll call w/ most of those as well if I push. Still not sure on this one...

Well, I made a very marginal call and got the 2nd best I could expect here when he flipped 89 no club. I was actually the favorite. The best would have been a lower flush draw w/out a pair. I guess 99 and TT would have been fine for him to have as well. A set and I'm 3-1 against and a higher flush draw I'm drawing slim too. I like calling too much (or pushing)... GAMBOOOOOOL

wow, to think someone could overplay their hand like that

i dunno gom, even though it turned out (SORTOF) for the best, it's play for stack w/ little shared equity from others vs what is best for your case small edge (which is great when we have an edge + shared equity!) but all too often it's neg EV. (if he can have 89 here, he could have J8; or pair plus same flush, killing some outs; or be in the lead w/ ace high of our suit, whatever..)

Fold. You have no f/e. You may not be drawing to nuts.
