It seems like I'm always having to fold or running into kings and aces when I play AQ like this. I originally called to hit a draw, but his weak flop bet and tptk was too irresistable to me. Is this type of play a leak? Villain is 50/8/1.5 after 100 hands.

Raise the turn and see what he does. When you just smooth call like that you have to fold the river because you cant really place him on a hand.

I disagree. Raising this turn accomplishes little IMO. You are bloating the pot with TPTK with a diamond flush draw present.

I would go into c/c and pot control mode and pray for showdown.

I played this hand with teh guy a bit later in the session, he left right after, I was slightly annoyed but I think I made good folds both times. If I didn't I don't think I had enough information to call, what do you guys think?

Was this guy's river AF higher than his AF for other streets? Although rare, I've run into villains who will try to get to the river and then steal the pot.

Probably should clarify... of course everyone attempts to steal the pot on the river at certain points. However, there are a very few players whose primary tactic is to check / call to the river and then spring to life, mimicking a slowplay.

1st hand looks fine. i would occasionally reraise pre flop against a 50/8 but call is fine. flop, turn and river all look good. he'll show you a flush most of the time.

2nd hand bet the turn 2/3 pot an fold to a raise. as played the river fold looks good.
