She was NOT good in Fever Pitch. Unbelievably annoying.

The evidence I see suggests you're underestimating her. She looks smart to me.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (2003) $14,000,000
Charlie's Angels (2000) $9,000,000
Ever After (1998) $3,000,000

Seriously, almost every film she's been for quite a few years in has either done well at the box office (50 First Dates, Charlie's Angels) or is a lesser known but very good film (Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Donnie Darko).

I like the fact that she doesn't seem to have such a large ego that she won't take supporting roles.
