PP blinds..10/15

I've often wondered this..why do the PP tournaments start with 10/15 blinds. Doesn't make much sense to me. Anyone have any insight or is it just "one of those things?"

Because those are the blinds in a 15/30 blind structure?

Are there any other tournaments that start off like that elsewhere?

Almost every other site I've seen go similar to

10/20, 15/30, 20/40...etc not 10/15..just seems random. Any land based tournaments ever have a structure like PP?

There are some B&M tournaments that have blinds like that. For example, in a limit tournament, there would probably be $50/$75 blinds for the $75/$150 level. The two-and-three chip structure isn't uncommon at all.

Well, it should just be 7.5/15 blinds when you're playing with virtual chips.
