I see that a large tournament is beginning at the Commerce this weekend. I will be in L.A. on Sunday, but am not interested in playing in the tournament.
Will there be limit tables open at the Commerce during the tournament? Or should I forget the Commerce and just go to the Bike?
I'm interested in low-limit stud & hold'em.

You name the game, they will have it. I don't play stud, so I don't know how many games they have going, but there are a large number...anywhere from 1-2, 2-4, 3-6, 4-8 (hmm, maybe not 3-6), 6-12, 10-20, and larger.
As for hold'em...1-2, 2-4, 3-6, 4-8, 6-12, 9-18, 15-30, 20-40 and larger. You will be able to find a holdem game at any time of the day or night of the limit you want (maybe not 1-2 and 2-4, they may just have one or the other going).
And, from what I hear, the bike is dead, so I'd try Commerce. Good luck,

The Bike is strong at low limit holdem and stud. By afternoon and thru the evening there are usually about 4 to 7 3/6 holdem games, 3 to 5 6/12 holdem games, and one or two 9/18 holdem games. There are also a few 3/6 or 2/4 stud games. The atmosphere is nice, clean and cheerful, as it has had a complete facelift in the past year or two.
Both clubs should be checked out if you have time, but I think the Bike will pleasantly surprise you.
Regards,
Rick
