NL 200

Reads: 30-35 hands, villian is a semi-loose aggressive. 35 VpIP, 5 PFR, 4 Agg.

My stack: 280
Villan stack: 250

Villian open-limps in late position, another player min-raises to 4, I am in the BB and call another $2 wtih Ad 2d.

Flop: As 9s 5c

I lead out and bet pot ($10), villain smoooth calls 10, original rasier calls.

Turn: 2d

I make 2 pair with A2. I lead out and bet 60 into a 40 dollar pot.

Villian goes all in. Oringinal rasier folds. 180 more to me.

I call. Villain has A5 for a higher 2 pair.

-----------

My thoughts was that since the villan was aggressive, he would've rasied my flop bet if he had 2pair, a set, or TP given that there is a flush draw potential and also another player behhind him.

Why, exactly, are you betting 1.5x the pot on the turn? What hands that you are beating do you expect to call you here? Or, in other words, how does a bet like this make you any money?

From only 30-35 hands, I thinks it's difficult to say what type of player the villain is. I've lost money in the past assuming a player was loose aggressive when in fact he was just getting good cards.

I think the flat call on the flop should send out warning signals for starters. The 2 on the turn doesn't complete any draws, so you've got to think you might be beaten.

Oh, and it seems like you bet too much on the turn

Wrong move on the flop.
Bad move on the turn.
Bad move on the turn.

A-2s stinks. Fold preflop.
