villain had been pretty tight, but we ARE only on L2. the lsat orbit around (8 hands ago) it folded to him in SB and he miniraised me, i folded 27o.

he waited awhile on the flop and river, but checked fairly quickly on flop and turn...

The call pre-flop was what got you in trouble. Level 2 is too early to start getting into big confrontations like this. If you want to take your chances with a possible AA, KK or AK, then reraise all-in. Otherwise fold and curse your luck. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Although it might be tempting to call, because his play was suspicious, and he might have jj or tt, I would fold here. You still have plenty of chips to play with at this early stage, and it is just too dangerous to call this with the AK on board. I would think there is a very good chance he flopped a set of kings or aces, and wanted to induce a bet from you. Even if he is semi-bluffing here, it is not worth virtually crippling yourself at this early stage. Fold is correct.

As an aside, you should have either folded or moved allin preflop as well. With the limited info you have, I would probably fold it. Calling was a definite mistake though.
