Opponent is unknown but the table is generally passive.

I was going to fold the turn UI, but then when the board paired I thought I might be ahead of a worse T here.

Raise the flop?

Edit: I discussed the hand with Adam, and he said that he was stealing blinds fairly frequently, and that the limper was really bad.

I'm raising the flop to get rid of better 1-card flush draws and gutshots.

bump...

I'm looking at getting into six-max as soon as the first lull in October whoring begins, and I'll be starting at the 0.5/1 game... I'm looking for an answer to this also.

1) Is the PFR good (given info in my reply)

2) Is raising the flop good?

--Dave.

Edit: Villain in this hand is passive. Sorry I didn't mention that in my first reply...

Jees' maybe somebody ought to provide better reads... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You say the table is passive, therefore fold the flop! I would raise or fold this flop. Calling is terrible, in SH you have to make a decision, and if oyur continuing its normally better to raise.

You say that you think your ahead of a worse T on the turn? If you think you are ahead, raise! Much better to raise turn and check behind on the river than to call/call. If 3bet on the turn, fold it.

Thanks! The only thing I'm not sure on there is why calling is worse than folding. I agree with the raise being the best, but why would it be raise or fold? The pot is laying me the right odds to try and get twopair and I have a bdf? (although a crappy one)
