check raising

I'm still confused on when i should check raise.
usually when i flop trips or a 2 pair, i'll just call the flop bet and check raise the turn. Does this not create more equity? Especially if it is multi handed, isnt the risk of getting drawn out worth it if you're going to be getting more bets?

The best way to discuss the concept of check/raising is to post some hands where you check/raised (or thought you should have). There are many factors to consider in check/raising such as size of the pot, coordination of the board, and where (if) a bet is expected to come from, that make each c/r choice a unique decision.
